We will start daily evening prayers 8:30pm to 9:00pm to support our community and others to support them during this hard time. The prayers are led by Costandi Bastoli.
Costandi is a lay Christian healer and lieutenant of the Equestrian Order of the Holy Sepulcher. Join us nightly after you put the children to bed and start praying.
Nightly Prayer Program:
Throughout the week, we follow a consistent format for our nightly prayer, except for Friday nights. Our typical format includes:
1. A hymn of Praise, worship, or thanksgiving
2. Scripture reading and brief reflection
3. Spontaneous prayers as the Spirit moves us individually
4. Closing with the Our Father, Hail Mary, Prayer to St. Michael the Archangel, and the Glory Be
Friday Night Rosary
On Friday nights, we adopt a different format, praying the Sorrowful Mysteries of the Scriptural Rosary. This format allows us to reflect on the sorrowful events in Jesus’ life, drawing us closer to Him and uniting our sufferings with His. Through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary, we offer our prayers to the Father.
The Power of Intercession
During Jesus’ Transfiguration, Moses and Elijah appeared, ministering to Him. This moment reminds us that the saints who have gone before us are alive and part of the Body of Christ, to which we belong. As members of this Body, we intercede for one another and the world, uniting ourselves with Jesus, who sits at the right hand of the Father, interceding for us.
The Scriptures urge us to intercede for all people, including those in authority, so that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness (1 Tim 2:1-4). This pleases God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to a knowledge of the truth.
All Are Welcome
You are invited to join us for these nightly prayers, where we come together in unity and solidarity to pray for peace in Palestine and the world.
