Dear Friends and Supporters,

The Latin Patriarchate in Jerusalem has announced that traditional celebrations for Easter cannot take place as usual due to the war. The Palm Sunday procession from the Mount of Olives in Jerusalem is cancelled and the Chrism Mass is postponed. The Church is hurting.

But hope remains unshaken, the Churches in Jerusalem remain open and prayers continue. The call from the Latin Patriarchate is to pray the Rosary on Saturday 28 March.

On Saturday 28 March, 7:30PM – 8:30PM, Palestinian Christians in Australia (PCiA) will be holding a prayer service on Zoom to pray for peace in the Middle East. We will be holding an Ecumenical Service praying the Rosary and reading bible verses and listening to Christian songs.

PCiA director and spiritual leader Costandi Bastoli will be leading the Prayer Service.

The message of Easter prevails and unites us: Life is stronger than death. The light of Hope will not extinguish.

Bookings essential to send you the Zoom link.
